OUR ORIGINS
Kador was founded in 1962 in Cadore, an area known as one of the first eyewear districts. From the outset, the desire was to produce high-quality handcrafted glasses using ancient techniques that can be described as pure art. Our eyewear-making skills, also supported by the aid of technology, have preserved these secrets to this day. This is why each Kador pair of glasses is a unique piece of design.

We're in the heart of the Dolomites, a marvellous land with a rich variety of picturesque little lakes, mountain streams and beautiful woodland that frames the highest peaks.
These enchanting landscapes fill us with inspiration and pride.
OUR LAND
We feel privileged to be able to live amid this delightful scenery, in which nature shows us its unique beauty every day. We wanted to pay tribute to the Cadore area, renowned as an eyewear district, by honouring it with our name, Kador.
For us, the value of quality is essential right f rom the origin, which is why each of our eyewear models is produced using naturally derived Italian materials and crafted every day with passion and a professional approach that honours our origins.
EYEWEAR EXPERTISE
We were born as eyewear artisans and our production still keeps alive some of our secrets of the ancient technique of eyewear making. In fact, although supported by technology, we have been able to recognise and maintain the most important manual work phases for the creation of handcrafted quality eyewear. Phases that cannot be learned overnight, but are true artistic disciplines handed down over time. Today, the ancient art of spectacle making still dances in the hands of our craftsmen who skilfully work acetate to create spectacles of unique value.
